EISA Anniversary Awards with Crowdfinders

CROWDFINDERS SPECIALISE IN CREATING MAGICAL EVENTS AND DRAWING A DISCERNING CROWD.

The Crowdfinders story started in 2014, when Luke and Will – two brains of the investment, hospitality and marketing worlds – came up with a simple idea: to create a fast-paced event series worthy of the rapidly evolving investment sector.

Crowdfinders are world-renowned for their spectacular and engaging events which consistently attract the brightest businesses and the most influential investors.

ABOUT US

If you’re a company looking to raise funds or an investor looking for exciting opportunities, then our events are the place to be. You’ll learn 'who’s who in the zoo' and rub shoulders with inspirational entrepreneurs, sophisticated investors, leading professionals and key Government officials.

Luke and Will have collectively attended over sixteen million events (sic), experiencing the good, the bad and the boring! Crowdfinders combines Luke’s financial sector knowledge and connections with Will’s showmanship and flair to deliver one heck of an event series. With a dramatic reputation to uphold and more tricks up their sleeves for 2018, Crowdfinders promises to put the fun back into fundraising.

Luke Davis

Chairman and Co-founder

Luke established IW Capital in 2012 to work closely with clients on EIS focused investment opportunities. He is also the Co-founder and Director of Money & Co. He was the driving force behind the creation of Crowdfinders, with the aim of putting on the sort of events he wanted to attend. He started off as a stockbroker, but he’s much better now. Luke is the quiet, dangerous Crowdfinder, he can usually be found… actually he’s really difficult to find. Kind of like a silverback gorilla…

William Broome

Co-founder

Over the past fourteen years, Will has become one of the most renowned and respected figures in the events and hospitality industries. He created londonlaunch.com in 2001, which has become the definitive resource for corporates, connecting event organisers with all the best venues, service providers, trends, ideas and tips. Will has the best hair of all the Crowdfinders and he’s the one that secures the best venues and the biggest surprises. A ringmaster of sorts!

Alex Ricketts

Co-Founder

Alex has been working in the media and marketing industry for most of his career. He hasn’t let this hold him back however, and for the last few years, he has worked with a wide variety of clients from start-ups to multi-nationals. He is also a past president of the UK Word of Mouth Marketing Association. Crowdfinders was a natural progression from his long experience in sponsorship and events, let’s face it, who doesn’t like a party? Alex is the largest of the Crowdfinders.

Mercedes Pike

Account Manager

Mercedes studied at the University of the West of England and has gained valuable experience across various sectors since. She brings to her role existing knowledge of the alternative finance sector via IW Capital, the private equity house, and has a great passion for the Crowdfinders' brand. Mercedes manages the team and is responsible for the smooth running of the business covering everything from supplier management and guest services to accounts and marketing. If we had a complaints department she’d run that too but we haven’t received one yet...

Tatiana Withanage

Head of PR

As the Former Head of Marketing & PR at Saatchi and Saatchi, overseeing accounts including Toyota, EE and Visa, Tatiana has forged a successful career developing communications strategies for SME’s. She now joins the Crowdfinders team as Head of PR overseeing our extensive market research, press office, social media communications and media relations.
